Hi, I was testing the ERA VSTi seq tonight along with the JazzMutant's Lemur.
Very, very nice.
I was about to buy it but I see you guys are working on a replacement product?
Is Consequence the replacement?
Or is it something else?
ERA, as I said, has everything I need in a Step Seq VSTi, and it's nicely controllable with the Lemur; I hope its successor is VSTi as well.
lmk,

"Is Consequence the replacement?

Tell us, please!
In my opinion the interface of ERA 2 is awful, it can easily spoil your eyes.

Consequence is not a replacment but it already shows a little bit the way of how we want to handle sequencing in the future. But since this way is new and different we won't call a new MIDI sequencer a replacment of ERA anyway. It will be something new and unique.

Thank you for your reply. I hope it could sequence two or more midi notes simultaneously, like strumming.
And I am very afraid a word "unique", because it will be unique anyway. There is not any good VST sequencer - arpeggiator on market at all. There is nothing as good as Korg Triton or V-synth arpeggiator in software, I really tried to find.

What's going on here? I am very interested in buying a "Step Sequencer." I can't seem to figure out how to use ERA 2. Perhaps I should wait another few years for the next model? I don't know what to do.
I just downloaded ERA 2. I like it but I can't figure out how to use it and haven't found much info in the instruction manual or in this forum. Specifically, I'm interested in figuring out how to use some functions in the main section and in the variation section. Basically, the variation control section is driving me nuts.
Is there a better manual somewhere or some tutorials that I missed?

It might be better if you start a new thread for this. Some people on this forum (myself included) will gladly help you with some of the functions. Just explain what you are trying to do exactly, what host etc. (again, preferably in a new thread)zounds2000 wrote:What's going on here? I am very interested in buying a "Step Sequencer."
