My song Rhythm Worship here uses three Bazilles. I made sure to flatten them to audio, in case it doesn't sound like itself a few months from now!

I might add that most of the percussion (the slushier kick drum + bongo + metallic clinks) is provided from a single Zebra patch played across about 73 octaves. :P

It's kinda silly, but someone's got to be the comedian.

will *this* get me to the annoying 5-post cutoff?

edit: It didn't, so I just went and posted a completely out-of-context smiley in the D.CAM Synth Squad thread. :)

Why do I want some Spaghetti now, sublimal perception? If I cant eat it why not patch it :) The Alpha version sounds and looks good, looking forward to the final release.

Can some kind soul tell me where those .h2p preset files should go, on mac? I thought I had them in the right place but they didn't show up i Bazille.

Some pretty generic electronic music...

Every sound came from Bazille, one synth was processed with MFM2 for glitchy delays and drums are compressed using Zebrify for dual-band parallel compression. I also used Uhbik-A as a send.

thanks Justin. Your generic electronic tack is very nice btw!

Sounds really good! This does actually sound like early 80's and a bit modern at the same time.

And this also. Urs, you may have made something special now (again).

Ahh, I needed to replace the .h2p with .aupreset then it worked...

hmm, that shouldn't be the case. Are you putting the files in the AU Preset folder? H2P files don't go in there. Also, the only way to browse for presets (that I know of) is to click in the field that says...

"Bazille 0.1
Demo Version"

This was confusing to me as well at first.

Oh shit, I think I got a little bit of my robot on. I don't know what is generic about that. I was totally expecting to hear doh-doh-doh-doh kicks. :)

This synth most definitely is special. It's totally inspiring, and I feel like I want to use it in everything. I spend a lot of my sound designin' time making synth drums, and I've been a little hesitant to go there with bazille, just because of the rapid notes -> processor meltdown thing. But I was messing that way a bit tonight, and found that an interesting option is to use the non-poly modes, particularly duophonic. Not really meant for drums, but it does some slightly twisted things to them when notes overlap.

I haven't really said it, so: thanks very much, Urs, this little toy is magic.

Thank guys

I was putting them where you said. But i was loading it in Logic, and using he generic Logic preset browser. The only way i could stop the presets from being greyed out was to rename them, the same as some of the other prsests in other folders. But they didn't actually load, even though they showed up... Now that you've told me where I should load them, I've put the names back to .2hp, and all is well. phew! hanks for your help. Sounds great Urs, damn clever chap!
