I think I got the bargain of the year yesterday. I'm still grinning from ear to ear! Excellent Reverb and superb FX, with more on the way, and all for 60 EURO! Cool!
MReverb released for intro only 10 EUR

I'll keep an eye out and write everthing down if it (phase cancelling) happens again. I said I'd be reading the manual today but I wanted to check with an expert (you) to see if it could be a fault or a feature or something else beore I started reading.

Yes!
I just bought it. It's a cool reverb. Until now I was using BReverb and epicVerb only. But with MReverb I can come to good results quicker as it has way bigger sweet spots. Very nice so far. I like the overall quality of the sound, it can be very lush. Great.
Hey Vojtech, about some bugs etc. I'll contact you via email.
BTW, what is the social experiment with this price? Is it if a good sounding reverb with an ugly GUI could be sold at a low price anyway?
No really, a great looking GUI would make it way easier for lotsa folks. (Did someone say To***erb?)

Do you spend hours looking at your reverb or listening to it?shogger wrote:YNo really, a great looking GUI would make it way easier for lotsa folks.Shogger
I bought MReverb and it looks fine to me. No confusion to notice using it.

This is always a debate with some users. Some people actually need the shiny knobs in order to consider purchasing. I was originally put off a little by the interfaces, but once I started using the plugs, I realized they are are very useful by design and that's something you can definitely appreciate more than shiny knobs.Ardtreck wrote:Do you spend hours looking at your reverb or listening to it?shogger wrote:YNo really, a great looking GUI would make it way easier for lotsa folks.Shogger

Well enough about GUI's... I've had some more goes with this and have to say I love the social experiment. This thing is a real gem. I really do hope it's generating some useful sales because this is truly a bargain.

I'm pretty sure that you can install on two computers. I've read in an MDrummer thread that you can install on 2 computers, it's just that the license hasn't been updated to reflect it.
But, you'll have to wait for an answer from the maestro...

You seem to be one of those people who don't care about a GUI. I am somewhere in between. A GUI has to be easy to use first. But I will write to Vojtech in private about this.Ardtreck wrote:Do you spend hours looking at your reverb or listening to it?shogger wrote:YNo really, a great looking GUI would make it way easier for lotsa folks.Shogger

You might be shocked if you'd know how many people buy a plugin just on reputation and looks. "I mean it's brandX and look at those shiny knobs!" That's just how it is.

Well, you're quite mistaken. I love great GUIs (I own Kontakt 3, FM8, Albino, Minimonsta, Zebra and others) and wouldn't use something I find sore to the eye. Especially a synth you spend hours tweaking. My point is that MReverb is NOT ugly. It's keeping with the Melda general design that I find quite appealing.shogger wrote:You seem to be one of those people who don't care about a GUI. I am somewhere in between. In your post, you mentioned Toraverb, one of the other new reverbs coming out. The GUI looks so much like a picture of hardware that the first time you look at it, you feel like reaching for it with your own fingers. (but it seemingly does not sound that good and is CPU-hungry)
I simply think the time when software was desperately trying to look like hardware have gone. For the best.

Sorry Sir! Maybe it was too early for me when I answerered first on this. I see we both seem to mean the same basically. Only our taste differs. And maybe our level of tolerance of usability flaws in a GUI. But that's ok for me. Peace.

Thanks (I assume it was positive). Well, we are trying to make our plugins look and work the same, so once you grab the principles, you get a new plug, and just check the names and you can work with it. Important is to be able to edit each value quickly and accurately at the same time and , of course, know what the value isArdtreck wrote:Well, you're quite mistaken. The licence manager will guide you - it will create a HTML script, you will run it on an online machine, download the licence file and load it back into the licence manager.
