The thing about my favorite analog emulations like the arturia range and poly-ana is that seem to have some kind of oscillator instability or a setting for drift, which I find gives it a bit of character. You can do something similar I suppose using a slight lfo on the osc pitch, but then you lose that lfo for such a subtle thing. And I'm not even sure if that's all that's going on.
I've always thought of sylenth1 as being one of the juiciest, most "analog" sounding synths, but at the same time I find it much more clean/static sounding than some of those classic emulations where there is just something to the oscillator sound. It would be cool if Sylenth1 had some kind of setting for increasing the osc instability or drift slightly to add some character.

ooh +1 for this feature.
I was about to ask in the sound design thread for the best way to mimic this in other synths, like Sylenth1 and when making VA patches in Alchemy.
It really does add so much character!

It would be a nice feature, but for now it can always be done with automation.
