The promo website they've had up forever makes it seem pretty juicy, but it's kind of slid into "probably won't spend money on that" territory for me.
I've heard lots of great audio samples from synth squad. It is a fine set of synths. The audio quality is superb and it is not a duplicate of what is already out there.

My only complaint is that it wont work for me... Thankfully Bazille is available to fill the deficiency otherwise I'd frown! :-)

here is my latest dabbling with bazille...

link doesn't work for me.

Not even just typing in daigathar.org works, so I'd say either the mistake in the link is in that section, or the site is down.

HAHAHA - funny stuff!
The guys who hadn't used it yet ("Uh, it's certainly good for learning..." and "Uhm that fractal...") will be quite surprised. I think Nick got it though 8)
Yep, Nick and Rich Hilton and Diego (a bit). It was really only Dave Robinson that didn't quite understand what Bazille is for.

Now that's an interesting idea... Both developer and u-he-synth-addicts would benefit of this. Sounds great to me :D
+1 :tu:

I'm sooo "in" on this idea. Please allow any "special purchase" to be available from/or including the beginning of the (any given) month, as some of us are "wards-of-the-state", in one form or another.

Wait.. how did you kids get Bazille? Is it an open beta? Closed? Am I do stay at home and have to practice my violin while all the kids are having fun?

Justin...wow. This is so far from what I'd consider "generic electronic". There wasn't a single supersaw in there :P

This is by far my favorite song/clip of yours you've posted up to now. I think I'm gonna load that sucker on my ipod...
I believe the term is "banging" according to the vernacular of the kids these days. Word!

Here ya go:
Urs wrote:ARRRGH. Why? Why with the power of the Death Star does everyone need to play with super alpha software before it matures?!?

Here are some cleverly obscured links:

Mac: http://www.u-he.com/Bazille01Mac.component.zip (AU only, DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY ON POWERPC)

Win: http://www.u-he.com/Bazille01Win.zip (put Bazille.dll and Bazille.data in Vstplugins)

- do not post lengthy bug reports, the beta team does a great job
- I do not want to hear about crashes, seriously
- no, it doesn't have a file browser and it might crash when using a host environment
- yes, patches may sound different in the final version
- no, you shouldn't sell yor CZ-101 just yet
- I will not answer questions related to usage aka How Does One Do This Or That...
- and yes, it'll expire at some point...

:hihi:

Ya this is really great idea Urs. It also would work really well for you because people are more prone to buy things in Stages. And a nice simple one to start would be a great way to get people excited and learn some basics without being overwhelmed.

Because I have more synths than I really deserve already, the Berlin Modular was definitely going to be a far off possibility (as good as I know it'll be). But sell me a nice cheap little 2 Osc-2ofEverything starter synth and I'll bite. And likely use that voucher at some point too! 8)

Yeah, that's right. Suck us in a bit at a time.

But you will want high speed or something, 6 megabyte zip file. I'm having a blast with this thing. It has such a dark tone. Dark.

Good, good. This synth sound is so buzzy, and just blur!

Edit = fyi

Camel space, is being used for dl, vb, flnge, etc, that is not yet built on bazille. - fx on wav file only. two preset files = synth only.
