anyone else having problems downloading the update?
i'm getting about 8KB/sec average and times out at around 13MB each time.
i've tried 3 times and same problem occurs.
how big is the update file size?

Do we install over the previous version or uninstall/reinstall?
(ha snap!)

There is no need to remove the previous version before running the installer. There is no harm in doing this either, if you really want to, but be aware that you will need to re-authorize in this case, and be sure to backup any user presets you have created if you choose to do so. But again, it is not really needed. The installers will simply update any installed full versions.
If you have the DEMO installed however, you should manually remove that first.
Size is close to 100MB b/c there are now 4 different GUI skins included in the install.

Hi Andrew,
I picked up Aether when it was first released and have been running it in
Tiger (10.4.11) all this time with no problem. However, after downloading
the new update it no longer works in Live 7/8 and fails validation in Logic
8.02. Any thoughts? The only change I have made recently is bumping the
RAM up to 2GB, but that hasn't seemed to have a negative effect anywhere
else that I can see. I need my Aether back!
Cheers,
Scott

Yes, we are hearing of issues in X.4.11 now. We are exploring now.
We don't officially support X.4 since we do not have x.4 installed on any machines here to test on. BUT, the betas were all working on X.4.11 up to the release build. So, either it is some minor change in the very last build or it is the installer that is causing problems now in X.4.11. We are investigating. "Should be" a simple thing to fix.

Andrew,
Thanks for your prompt reply. I do hope it is something simple
to correct as Aether has been one of my favorite go-to reverbs
ever since it was released.

Scott
