Managing Plugins - sub-folders

Hello - I can't seem to find this anywhere. Can the vst instruments be organised into sub-folders at all? Eg. when I click on source select, sub-folders come up with, say, organs, synths, pianos. Then I can click into those menus to find the particular instrument I'm after.

Does that make sense?
