I thought as much. Just dreaming Urs, just dreaming. A dream of mine for this synth if it could use your audio interface for CV/Gate to interface Bazille with your hardware modular - like an advanced Volta or Silent Way or even include a built-in subhost to host these plugins. For example, using a Bazille oscillator to process audio through a hardware filter (which is modulated by another Bazille oscillator) and then bring the audio back into Bazille through it's ringmod and amp section. I'm not sure how doable it is but it would be nice

Here they end up here:
"X:\plugins\u-he\Bazille01Win\Bazille.data\Presets\Bazille\"
(Hmm , anyone understand why the forum adds a space in the path after Presets? There is no space in the actual path???)

KVR does that so that the layout doesn't get mangled from long words.lazerkind wrote:(Hmm , anyone understand why the forum adds a space in the path after Presets? There is no space in the actual path???)

Look inside the "VstPlugIns" folder where you have the plug-in. My path looks like this:brick wrote:I can find them under OSX ok , its windows vista where the problem is , a search brings up nothing........lazerkind wrote:Here they end up here:

VstPlugIns\U-He\Bazille.data\Presets\Bazille
This is incoherent (don't know why) with the other U-He plug-ins, which store their presets in Program Files\U-He\Presets.

Mmm , the path I have is different , VstPlugins \ Bazille.data \ Presets \ Bazille . The only thing that is in that folder is MIDI Programs .fmr wrote:Look inside the "VstPlugIns" folder where you have the plug-in. That's because this alpha doesn't have an installer and this is what I call the "pre-installed" option. Future installers will btw. default to this, or create a shortcut to wherever you want e.g. the Zebra2.data folder.fmr wrote:This is incoherent (don't know why) with the other U-He plug-ins, which store their presets in Program Files\U-He\Presets.

Your path look different because you installed Bazille in the "root" of VstPlugIns. For a matter of organization, I usually have my plug-ins inside folders by manufacturer name (that's why I have the U-He.brick wrote:Mmm , the path I have is different , VstPlugins \ Bazille.data \ Presets \ Bazille . If you don't have presets in that folder, that's because you don't have any. Bazille comes without presets, although Urs shared a couple of them for starting (somewhere in a past post in some thread regarding Bazille - perhaps this one.

You mean that you will no longer use a centralized path for presets? I very prefer that way, since I have several VstPlugIns spreaded all over the HD(customized for some applications), and I hate when I have to carry the entire folder for a plug-in.Urs wrote:That's because this alpha doesn't have an installer and this is what I call the "pre-installed" option. There are no presets in that folder , but the 25-30 I've already made are still accessible through Bazille's preset drop down .Your path look different because you installed Bazille in the "root" of VstPlugIns. I'll try creating a u-he folder and see if that helps .

Are you sure you don't have another VstPlugIns with Bazille inside? If you have presets available, it means you have them stored somewhere in the HD. Maybe you should use the "Find" option and look for one of them (don't forget to add ".h2p"). They have to show up.brick wrote:There are no presets in that folder , but the 25-30 I've already made are still accessible through Bazille's preset drop down .Your path look different because you installed Bazille in the "root" of VstPlugIns. Yep, that's right. You can put presets, resources and stuff anywhere you want, but there needs to be a shortcut sitting next to the .dll then. The enw installer will of course do all this for you, which includes merging the previous location to the new location.fmr wrote:You mean that you will no longer use a centralized path for presets?

No I just have the one Vstplugins folder , tried a search for files with the .h2p extension and the names of the presets , but nothing shows up . Its gotta be something simple......fmr wrote:Are you sure you don't have another VstPlugIns with Bazille inside? If you have presets available, it means you have them stored somewhere in the HD.
