Hi Rico,
I have only been using the Eloquence file menu, so I can see and load all the preset banks. I have not been using the Logic, or Renoise file systems. When I want to save I click on the preset name field in Eloquence, and the menu drops down, save is the first option, it opens the standard Mac file dialogue, and takes me straight to the User folder. The file box defaults to the file name New File, so I give the file a name and press save. The new preset does not show up in the Eloquence preset menu, and is not in the folder. I have tried this in both Hosts, and no .sbe is being created. I also tried with the vst version in Renoise, but that made no difference. I had installed the full version on top of the demo, so I have just deleted the application, and the plugins, and installed again, but still no luck. This is the only way I can see to save, but it just won't work for me.

You should trash the Eloquence plist and install again,
maybe there is some plist problem going on.
Plist can be found at: User/Library/Preferences/com.sugar-bytes.Eloquence.plist
Hope that helps,
Rico

Just after my last post I though about the .plist, so I did delete it, the application and the plug ins, and installed it again. Unfortunately it did not help. When I came back here and you had also suggested it, I tried again. So I definitely have a clean install, but still no luck.

Maybe this problem has to do with permission.
Please try to change the right permission of the whole content folder.
(Allow the write permission for everybody)
Make sure that the changes affect all subfolders.
If you don't know how to change permission:

Playing with the demo and am liking it very much. What would make it even more perfect would be a stand-alone version. Don't know if that's something that might be considered in the future?
Available on iTunes, Amazon, etc.

Sorted! It was permissions, I am feeling stupid now for not checking, but anyway that fixed it. The user folder had no access for the everyone setting. So thank you Rico and Robert at Suger Bytes for such fast support, and ttoz for the insight.

jumping in on this thread to get the notification when the mac midi CC bug has been tackled by sugar bytes.
I suppose it will be posted in this thread.
Will order it immediately after that.
Been checking multiple instances with 6 iac busses and works perfect.
But no midi CC output....? Hope it will be fixed soon.
My prayers for a decent step sequencer as a plug in have finally been answered.

Would be nice to have a"randomizer" knob for every section of eloquence.
I am a long time user of Five12 Numerology. It s stepsequencers all have this feature. Please consider implementing this in the future.

Just tried the demo and it's really cool. I also d/l the Consequence demo for a 2nd time and I don't know why, but this time I really like it.
Any plan for a Consequence/Eloquence bundle? I plan getting both and a special price bundle would make the decision much more easy.

Question to SB or whoever: Okay tonight I just messed about w/ Eloquence. Created a 4 bar sequence with a drum pattern looping in Cubase. Used the mouse to draw velocity, pitch, and gate time.
So why is this better or what does this offer versus doing the same thing in Cubase itself? Can't I play in or draw in looping MIDI patterns in Cubase and then change the velocities and gate times? What does Eloquence offer that I can't do in Cubase?
I'm pretty new to all of this so excuse me if that's a dumb question.
Thanks!
