Thanks a LOT for the new randomization features. I guess begging is worthwhile sometimes.
Anyway, Eloquence in front of two different instances of Wavelore's Pedal Steel Library is pure bliss.

Very few compared to Eloquence. The only cool thing about it is if 7Aliens can create a flood of genre specific preset pattern packs for it. It would be very inspirational. Also, it is not a full fledged arpeggiator. The GUI is georgeous though.funkychickendance wrote:Well, there's this Catanya thingie that has some positive attributes.
That's all cool, but genre specific packs that you purchase and load in would be my thing. This way I can tailor the plugin to the music style I'm into. I feel that why the hell would I want jazz or rock patterns, when I do polka? Genre specific preset pattern packs would be more likely to attract customers looking for specific musical styles.funkychickendance wrote:a. Access to a variety of 'styles' presets (classical, jazz, techno, rock, etc)...
Most, if not all developers would probably tell you to go f### yourself.funkychickendance wrote:Like 256 or 512 slots available...
Fair enough.funkychickendance wrote:c. Some non 4/4 opportunities
I know. That's how it is with everything.funkychickendance wrote:All these things are doable and found in bits and pieces.
That's what I'm saying.funkychickendance wrote:I'm not asking for an arp that does my composing for me, but one that'll help with decisions beyond "hmm, up or down?"
That's not cool.funkychickendance wrote:Whatever you do with it sounds like it was played by some geriatric covers band from hell.

Maybe not the most "real" piece of music that comes out of it but it can sound really good if you sculpt the velocity curves with caution in order to perform the slides with the right feeling. (If you have the velocity affecting the slide speed.)funkychickendance wrote:Whoa! Must try that...not enough hours in the day...jensa wrote:Thanks a LOT for the new randomization features. Oh, i'm okay with 'real' music, but i also need the unreal. That's where the interesting stuff happens...good tips there; thanks.jensa wrote:Maybe not the most "real" piece of music that comes out of it but it can sound really good if you sculpt the velocity curves with caution in order to perform the slides with the right feeling. They're real quick. I got an answer within 10 minutes. A YES answer.mn wrote:I own both as well and still haven't heard anything. I guess I need to contact them.OCYL4T3 wrote:I also already received my update offer. I'm not sure which product it was from. I owned both ERA & Phrazor.

You mean you actually needed more than 20 minutes to decide?musikmachine wrote:The time limit does make it hard to really get into it...

I would recommend those who haven't purchased it yet to pass on this one. This piece of software is nothing more than a gimmick. It's interesting for the first couple of seconds, but it gets boring real fast. In addition, the plug-in will leave you feeling very much limited and constricted within itself. Save the money for something more useful. Oh, and the support received from these guys are terrible. They'll only respond quickly to make a sale, but you're pretty much on your own after that. Hope this helps.
