A small bug report:

Changing the pitch in the pitch sequencer don't update the note labels below if you haven't armed the track Eloquence is added to in Reaper. Arming the track updates the note labels to the latest change.

what about mid drag and drop?
+1. It would be extremely handy.

Hi,

I also did the IAC business and it just plays well out of sync.
I am on logic pro 7... is there any change to fix this or I am doing something wrong?

Kind Regards

Recording the output of Eloquence should be possible in all hosts, although it's tricky in some hosts.
Thats why a midi export had not a high priority for us (althoug we thought about). After recording you also have the chance to quantize the record in order to clear timing errors caused by IAC. (Of course you have to take care of the correct swing related to the swing in Eloquence).

I can't promise a midi export for a future update, but we'll take it into account.
What i also not liked about the export option, was the needed limitation to export only one pattern. And because of independent loop bars for all the sections, this might result in an unexpected export.

I just want to add that both VST/AU supports midi out with sample accurate timing. Unfortunatly it seems no AU host is using it. We have an implementation for this and are hoping that the hosts will implement it in the future.
This would make the life for all of us much easier.

I just arm the track consequence is routed to and record the midi output.

I'm getting a lot of mileage out of the demo this way and changing it up on the fly as i record is awesome!

What do you mean by this?

When you hit the Mutate button, the sequencer data will be randomized just a bit, based on the existing data.
In the performance section, only existing events will be changed. For the chord lane that means for example, that only existing chords will be changed,
but no new chord steps will be generated. The mutate function helps to alternate your sequences without fully destroying them.

In Cubase it seemed pretty easy. Once I figured out how to have it play a separate synth (see my previous post), it was simple to just hit record. Presto - a MIDI track right in Cubase from Eloquence.

If you have some room left on the FR list it would be nice to have a tempo "multiplier", at least for each CC lane.
So it would be possible to have CC changes over a few bars, and to avoid too drastic changes doing an interpolation at a higher resolution (optional).
