Receptor performance difference between gigs?

Hi guys,

This may be a difficult question, but thought I'd throw it out there :)

For the last 10 gigs or so, my RevC has been performing flawlessly. Mainly using Ivory, B4II and a couple of small samples in Kontakt II.
However, on the last gig Saturday just gone, Ivory AND B4 were starting to stutter a bit. I had to restart each set for the first two sets and then the third set it seemed OK.

The only difference at this gig from the others was the use of a 'fogger' machine. However, the fogger was on the other side of the stage.

Anyone come across this behaviour before??

Cheers
Kim

I noticed something simalar before when heat was an issue .. make sure the receptor can breathe air in and out.

Also holding multi and triple clicking power clears all cache will help sometimes.

Regulate the voltage with an surge protector (UPS) .. which also will keep you online when short power failures occur on stage.

Hope this helps a bit.

did you play the same songs in the same order at the same settings?

im imagining a scenario where a particularly placed piano gliss with sustain wouldn't be handled well leaving some notes active, or something like that.

wild speculation i dont even have a receptor.
