Aftertouch controlling Leslie ax synth B4 II

Hi all,

I've found many solutions here, but I can't seem to figure this one out. How to assign my channel aftertouch controller from the roland ax synth to the leslie speed switch of the B4 II organ.

I can assign other controllers, which works .. I can assign aftertouch directly in a plugin like minimonsta .. but with the B4 I guess I have to let the receptor remap it. BUT HOW????

Any help or suggestions appreciated! :help:

For those who like to know, midi usb works on the receptor with the ax synth (though the as synth is not usb powered).

Personally the receptor kicks ass compared to a laptop on stage solution, rock solid timing 64 buffer low latency and flawless performance with ivory. So complements to the muse guys! I tried it all, brainspawn forte, macbook mainstage .. the receptor doesn't hum, sound crystal clear and deep with unbelievable rich sound.

I think you mean translation map from one CC to another but in a controller board you can assign the after touch to what you want with the exception of maybe a NRPN.I think the reason there's no USB buss power is because it's been turned off or the current is clamped. The PS is only a 1 unit and probably dosen't have that much power so muse keeps it from being overloaded.
A minor scale is a major scale starting 3 half steps down from the major and visa versa. Any Chord has as many versions as it has notes.

hammond organ on a keytar?

hmmm...harring is good, whipped cream is good, how good must be some pickled harring topped with a generous splash of nice and sweet whipped cream...

Chielio,

Channel Aftertouch is not one of the Control Change messages. Aftertouch is a different message. See the chart here:
http://www.midi.org/techspecs/midimessages.php

Receptor does not have the ability to re-map from Aftertouch to a CC message. That would need to be handled by your keyboard, the VST itself, or you could try one of the boxes from MIDI Solutions:

I assume channel aftertouch is recognized as cc 97 .. how do I remap that in the receptor to another cc parameter?

-On the ax synth I can't re-assign the aftertouch cc knob (or I don't know)
-On the receptor I can't find a way to remap aftertouch to cc *** (or I don't know how)

Suggestions still appreciated!

to contribute something more serious, aftertouch is not a CC as said before.

but you should be able to use one of the switches (legato switch) or the mod bender on the ax synth to send a CC message and remap that inside receptor.

i still would like to protest organ playing on keytars. :D

Called tech support, they explained me really well how to do it.

-In the setup page of B4 is a learn function that covers it all in the plugin.
-I finally understand how the move function in the midi cc parameter order screen works.

Thumps dump for muse!

Thanks for all the help guys, the Roland manual made me think aftertouch was controller 97 .. but now I know it isn't a cc.

When I don't walk and play .. the ax synth doubles as a second keyboard .. this explains the organ and keeps me from carrying an extra
keyboardcontroller on the small gigs where space is an issue.

I mapped the leslie switch to the portamento button, aftertouch to the swell .. don't worry, the screaming leads are there when I walk around!

Perhaps someone has advice on wireless midi packs? Saw a kenton in action once, maybe more suggestions here?

I humbly suggest MIDIjet. (I am dealer of them, by the way.)
