it certainly makes things a bit 'nicer' to listen to with headphones
(apart from the beep

-a lot of the settings are really only usable tho,in the first 30% of the control sweep e.g roomsize, reverb, distance. beyond those settings it all gets a bit wierd and unlikely to be very helpful (for me anyway)

might have to pay for it so i can try/compare a few mixes with it tho.
A no beep 1 week demo might have been better in that regard.

Hmm it seems not everyone is particularly fond of the beep...
For what it is worth: the beep is actually produced by the
virtual loudspeakers, so all HRTF, room acoustics and loudspeaker
models remain active, even if the beep is there...

I thought it was a beep tool! A very good one. I tested it in Stereo. Then in Mono. On my headphones. On my monitors. Everytime, a perfect BEEPING BEEP.

Seriously, the Red Line Monitor plugin had a nice 60 day fully functional demo, for a good reason. I actually managed to mix a whole song on my laptop with headphones and then listened to the results in the studio. There was no doubt at all that the plugin worked, it did, very well.
However, with your plugin, I read the manual, started messing around with the calibration but got so fed up with the beep within the first minute that I had no other choice but to delete it.
I can understand beeps on an effects plugin that is instant gratification but on this, THIS plugin that is about calibration and getting used to how it works and sounds and what it can do for a mix, you decide to put a beep???
For what it's worth, the little I did manage to hear I was not at all convinced. The HRTF processing messes with the frequency response much too much and makes most material sound harsh and phasey in a weird way. The room modelling was also way over the top. Even at minimum distance of 1m the room had too much reverb in it and didn't sound like a proper studio room at all.
Can't comment on the speaker modelling because I never got so far..

Actually, I would use it as an aid for rough mix drafts when working on my home pc late at night, before transferring them to the studio for the final mix using near-field monitors.
So, I only need to have just a fair perspective of how my mix will sound on speakers. After quick comparisons of listening through the headphones and then bypassing Isone and listening through the speakers I find the results sufficient for my needs.

I just tried the redline plugin against isone (full version, so no beep) and I must say that isone sounds imo more realistic and is much more versatile than the redline monitor plugin.

Who cares how cheap it is. I'm not supporting stupid copy protections. There simply is no reason at all for the beep. the non-demo version has no copy protectiopn, so to accuse this dev is sort of strange. if you do not want to buy it: leave it. but better tell: steinberg, NI, Waves etc. to rethink their copy-protection-scheme.
