After about a year and a half since my last bank, I've finally completed a new set of sounds for Zebra 2, with help from MCnoone (X-Y programming, variations and optimization.) This is a new expansion of 65 sounds plus 65 variations, covering a wide range of sonic territory. Though a number of the sounds are focused on dance & electronic genres, like my previous collections, there are also a fair amount of physical models, emulations, lush digital pads, soaring leads, funk polys, retro analogs and more.

Check out some demos:

Z-Squared - New Electronic Patch Tour
Genesis Mockup
Voodoo Mockup
Deadmau5 Mockup
Solar System - Classic Pad (Eric Persing style)
Bagpipes!
World's Most Wanted Wiener (funk composition by virt - sounds are mix of old and new from my bank, drums are ext.)

If you already own the Dance & Electronic Trilogy, you can upgrade to this new collection for only $5.

If you don't have any of my previous sets, the full price is $30.

You can purchase the Zebra 2 Tetralogy via PayPal at my website below, whether you're a new or returning user. You can also hear more demos, including showcases of older patches in the collection.

There is now! Check your email; I've updated the RAR to include a folder called "NewStuff" that has JUST the new patches. Good call.

Yeah.
These new patches sound great!
Great price too.

Thanks Zircon for giving me credit for doing the XY's.
It's amazing how many different variations you can come up with using them.

Cheers,
Michael :)

yes these do sounds superb and show off the quality of zebra's engine. Which I still can't believe I never liked for at least a year or two.
great job.

by the way Dreams of Clouds uses lots of cpu on my system. have no idea why.

Yeah, that one is a bit intensive... maybe it's the comb filter? Unfortunately, "Solar System" is worse (but it's worth it!)

Try changing the "voices" mode to "few".
You can also click off some effects to save memory too.

I guess you haven't tried the Zebra Food bank then, cuz that is the most memory intensive one I've heard. I just use the fx bypass to listen to them.
I only have 1gig ram though.

It's great to have you back making sounds for Z2 zircon! I definitely am purchasing the upgrade of this sound set, for the price of a fast food meal I can hear your latest work. :D

And thanks to MCnoone for stepping up to do the XYs! I was (not so secretly) hoping you would given the work on your own bank and the preset contest.

So many new goodies...But I must first update the commercial presets webpage with the new description!

yes you are right about this one too..
I did change to few voices and took off the fx no real difference.
For both of them if I disable OSC 1 the usage goes way down...

Thanks Zircon, great stuff, I've now upgraded to this as well!

Hmm, the limiter's a bit much on the demos...

Got it! Just go into "more osc's" . Where the waves are. both osc 1&2. Turn the resolution(to the right of the wave) down to zero.
The resolution is all the way up, which causes more memory use.
Now it will use half the memory, and the sound quality has no noticable difference.
