Would probably just make a bank of about 20 or more and sell it for, like, 2 to 5 bucks or something. The price would come up of course if there's, like, 40 patches. Besides, I'm just doing this for fun.
Yea...eh. no.
2 to 5 bucks?
Lets see...the cost of having a secure website to sell and dl from.
Cheapest I've seen is about $10usd a month. Pay the online financial service 15% of everything you sell. You might end up paying more than you make. You think?

If you want to sell patches and "maybe make something, you need a good all-around bank of 128 at least, and sell for no less than 25$ a pop.

What MC said and with the best possible intentions.... no!

I'm guessing just from your posts in this thread that you're just starting out learning Zebra. Maybe you ought to concentrate on walking before you try to run? Take your time to discover the ins and outs of Zebra. Try getting a bunch of decent patches together and then bin them all a year later when you realise that they aren't as good as you thought they were.

I mean, I only started dabbling at making patches when I got Zebra, about 2 years ago. The more I learn the more I realise how difficult it is to produce really good, playable, musical or even just useful patches. I'm certainly nowhere near good enough to think about selling my patches - if I ever wanted to (and it's not like the world is really crying out for more mediocre patch designers - every man and his dog seem to be setting themselves up as "pro" designers these days! )

Anyway, I hope I haven't been too harsh, don't be disheartened - have fun! :)

Thanks for being honest. I suppose I'll try and learn some more for a year or so and see what I can come up with.

Have you seen the Zebra Patch Contest - might be a good place to start learning  (you could even win something rather interesting!)

I've thought about it, but I'd only be able to download the prize at school and I might not even be able to get it if I win it. I'd rather not steal prizes from people that can get them. :I
