Euh, where is that in the picture, don't see what you mean.
and the little arrow to display a plugin on the racks won't show either. Any idea how this could happen?
I think it's best to send me the skin in a zip file, then i can more easily research this.

My bad I just said button, I meant to say "mute" button, in the part properties.

I'll send the skin file to you, I'm sure I messed it up somehow, just not sure how because it happened after a certain point of editing I just didn't notice it right away... I'm pretty sure it happened while editing the rack files after making the rack backgrounds slightly bigger so I could put a transparent "padding" on the sides.

I suppose that you started creating this skin based on the LooxPhat skin.

Note that if you change the graphics then you also have to properly indicate the X,Y,W,H coordinates of the graphic elements into the relevant .Xml file.

In this case, the mute button coordinates in SequencePartPropertyPanel.Xml do not really match the SequencePartPropertyPanel.Png.

Also at other points in your skin the same issue occurs, e.g. the rack names.
and the little arrow to display a plugin on the racks won't show either. Any idea how this could happen?
This because you have indicated (in FullRack.Xml) that the rack slots have X,W: 18,126 while the ExtraSlotComponentsLeftX parameter is 129.

So the rack slots are overlapping the rack buttons, which makes you only see one of both.

In this case i think you should set PlugSlot1 X,Y,W,H to 19,30,110,14.
(and also update the other plug slots coordinates relatively)

Hope this clarifies things.

I'm thinking about doing a wood texture for the wood parts cause I think it would allow me to add some other nifty details with some transparency effects, but I kind of like the plastic type of look the plain brown gives. Any opinions on that?

Very nice as it is, I think. Personally, I've never been keen on textures in GUIs.

hey thanks for the kind words everyone, it's good to see i'm not the only one with this taste! It's funny I used to hate this kind of look, wasn't modern enough...

sorry Jo I have some more questions, how the heck do you change the note color? I've been all over looking for it.

also now I'm having a problem with the slider on the full rack, there's a copy of it stationary underneath the moving one now. do you think i have something overlapping now with it? I haven't made any changes to it though, and the placement is right of the one that is moving. this damn rack has been making me not want to work with it I kinda screwed myself early on but hopefully it'll be easy going once it's done.

The note color in the sequence editor?

It's defined by the part color, so it's not skinnable as it's a user choice.

Please send me a copy of the skin so i can see & research the slider issue. Thanks.
