It would be a real shame to forget such an occasion, as it is 12:09am July 20th let me be the first to wish this thread happy 5th b-day

A bump! Yay! Midiworks, it seems that right now it's the best time to come up with whatever amp sim!

Merry Christmas.
And thanks for nothing.

And my reply to this in that thread?"Max B.Wide will be available before Christmas 2009"
"People crying about that I was not releasing those VST instead of going on with their lives.
I was not presenting anything in the last 1 1/2 years and still,
the same handful of people are trying to discredit everything I do. "
"I guess that I disappointed quite a few people but I never cheated on anyone.
I even delivered for free a few plug-ins over the time,
one of them was an very early version of the guitar amplifier...
So, now I should better use that time and get the demo version ready.
This time I will not let people upset me so much that I won't release the plug-in, not this time!
Because this also was one of the reasons..."
Way to make a liar out of me Rene.pattonfreak1 wrote:And xmas will come and go with nary a hide nor hair of this plug in sight. And when asked why Rene will say its because we pretty much talked him out of it (even though he just more or less said "I'll show you... You'll see.")
Mark my words... I'll see you in jail.
Merry Christmas.
And thanks for nothing.

I think Meffy did the right thing in locking the other thread and I think perhaps the time has come for this one to be locked as well. While Rene may not be the most dependable dev on here and now has to really earn his wings we must not forget that he is a person as well. It takes courage for him to keep trying while knowing coming here to announce another new piece of vaporware. This is not to say I won't be critical of him as a developer, but as a man who like all of us has his own issues in life I don't think today is the day to gloat about being right or wrong, it's not a day to judge. It should be a day of counting one's blessing, a day of understanding and a day of reaching out to our fellow men and women and a day of love. This to me isn't about religion but about my own take on this time of year having lost my sister Dec 21st 2002.
This is not a condemnation of you pattonfreak, I know where you're coming from and I've kept this going myself. So merry xmas to you and merry xmas to Rene
