Hello everyone. I'm trying to find where the snap to grid option is for midi sequences. I'm wanting to slightly offset drum hits for a more realistic feel but can't find where to turn the snap off at. Anyone please help? Thanks. (it's probably right under my nose and I just didn't see it...

Right klick in empy area, -->context menu,
edit --> select grid --> no grid.
No short cut up to now, will be implemented soon.

Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler!

I still think this is a fundamental feature that should be on the interface somewhere, not buried in menus (well, not buried for me, because I use the unfolded context menus setting).
Also, are there any plans for the current grid setting to be represented in the composer view?

I'm more thinking about a way that users can build a custom toolbar where they can put the functions they use a lot.robenestobenz wrote:I still think this is a fundamental feature that should be on the interface somewhere, not buried in menus (well, not buried for me, because I use the unfolded context menus setting).
But that's not yet for the short future. (though i already took it into account when designing M3's key/MIDI shortcut system)

You mean: Displaying a 16th grid in the composer when the composer grid is 1/16th, right?

Understandably, it's a big feature. This would be incredibly useful functionality to have, I hope you do decide it's worth going ahead with at some point.mutools wrote:I'm more thinking about a way that users can build a custom toolbar where they can put the functions they use a lot.robenestobenz wrote:I still think this is a fundamental feature that should be on the interface somewhere, not buried in menus (well, not buried for me, because I use the unfolded context menus setting).

Yup, that's the one.mutools wrote:Not yet. Also, are there any plans for the current grid setting to be represented in the composer view?
