MuLab on a network - and site licencing?

Hi
If I install MuLab to a network drive (in a college) will it run for multiple users from a single location?
I currently have EnergyXT (XT1 & XT2) running like this (very nicely) and am assuming that MuLab may be OK too as it installs just to it's own folder.
(Other apps like Cubase don't like it at all though!)
Also, are there any site licencing options for MuLab?

Yes, i think so. Didn't try it out myself though.hudson_m4000 wrote:If I install MuLab to a network drive (in a college) will it run for multiple users from a single location?
But i guess there might be some practical problems when user A and user B are mulabbing at the same time, and they change settings at the same time, then one user might overwrite the changes of the other user.
This is a typical multi-user problem and it can be protected by using file locking and 'transactions', but MU.LAB does not go that deep.
So i'm confident it will run fine, but be aware that when multiple users are changing settings at the same time, there might be a practical issue.
Yes.Also, are there any site licencing options for MuLab?

Hi - thanks for the reply. With energyXT I just lock the settings file so that it can't be written to by students - I will try it out next week.
I will also send an email about the site licencing.
Cheers

Hi Hudson_m4000. One of the main reasons I like Mulab as much as Energy XT is because of the fact it can run from it's own folder and doesn't need an installer per install. I do alot of mixing from my work pc's as well as my home pc, and like XT, Mulab runs nicely from a usb stick. I'm starting to use Mulab a little more than XT lately
(shhh! but don't tell the XT guys that, lol
)
