Is there a way to have Sylenth1 ignore midi patch changes in my midi files?

I exported some midi from a few old FL projects of mine
and after selecting a new patch in Sylenth1 pressing play in
my daw causes sylenth1 to change back to the default patch..

Do your midi files contain controller data (program change etc) at the start of the midi file?
If so then Sylenth or whatever synth you play will keep doing this.

What you need to do is check in the controller lane of your midi file to see if there are any events and program change messages.

All you have to do is import your midi file and delete program change data :)

hope this helps

Yeah exactly what rob is saying not sure how you do it in fl but in cubase basicly you select the midi you have imported and select from the midi menu "Open List Editor" and this displays all controller and note data where you delete what you need to, hope this helps!

Thanks guys. yea the files have the PC in the event list.
I just manually delete them but was hoping to have an option
in my daw or whatever to just ignore them but this works.
