Hi,
It's quite complicated to tell, but i give a try.
I've bought an Akai MPD16 MIDI controller and i want to assign a specific Vst trought MU.LAB, and assign a different Vst to my keyboard (a Casio PX110).
Both of them are linked to the pc via USB, both of them work quite well with MU.LAB.
Is it possible?
Thanks
An external instrument for each rack?

Yes, that's possible:
MIDI input in MU.LAB is always routed to the 'MIDI Input Target'.
Normally this is the last selected plugin.
But MIDI controllers can be mapped to plugin parameters.
Therefore right-click a MU.LAB parameter -> "Map MIDI Controller".
If you want to control a VST parameter, then choose "Map MIDI Controller" from the vst plugin context menu. For easyness, the last tweaked vst parameter will already be preset in that dialog.
If you map a controller to a plugin parameter, it can be done with "Global Span" or not.
Global Span means that the mapping is always active.
If 'Global Span' is off, then the mapping is only active if the plugin is currently set as the 'MIDI Input Target'.
Hope this helps.
