I can't even open the eloquence demo in Live now. It crashes immediately. I used to be able to open it before I downloaded the demo again today (wanted to check out the new version).

I'm on a mac. 10.5.7.

No problems here with Live. I was using the demo this morning and then bought the full version in the afternoon. Completely remove it and intall it again. Make sure to get rid of all the .plists and config files. Just do a Spotlight search for eloquence and trash everything you find.

Same problem here using FL Studio 8. Sometimes I can load it, sometimes it crashes. Had zero problems with v1.0.

Ok, I deleted everything related to eloquence, plist and all, and then re-installed it. Now it's even worse. Live crashed as soon as it was trying to load. I guess while it was scanning plug-ins.

I opened Live again and got this message: "Live's last program run was abnormally terminated because of the VST Plug-in "Eloquence.vst". This plug-in will be deactivated for use in Live. Other applications will not be affected."

Now what?

And by the way, both the audio unit and the VST version vrash Live. Now the VST version is de-activated though so I can't even try to load it anymore.

Live 8.04, OS 10.5.7.

UPDATE:

I opened Logic 9 after re-installing the Eloquence demo, and the AU validation tool crashed when it scanned Eloquence, so it is unavailable to use in Logic. I opened Kore 2 and rescanned my plug-ins and same deal. Kore 2 crahsed when it scanned Eloquence.

So at present, the Eloquence demo seems unusable in all mac hosts that I've tried, both AU and VST.

Hi all, please send us crashlogs along with a short story of the crash.
That will help us a lot to find and eliminate the problem.

I can't really send a crashlog because the eloquence demo can not be loaded in any host I have. It fails AU validation so Logic won't run it. When Kore scans plug-ins it gives the message that Eloquence VST is invalid or something and so is disabled. Live also gave a message that Eloquence VST must be disabled because of the message I wrote above".

So none of my hosts will allow it. I would suggest simply trying to run the eloquence demo on a mac.

New version crushes Live while scanning during the startup of live and then disables Eloquence.vst for the next start-up.

Hi, this week we're off to spain, so we have no chance to look into it.
Please count on a solution in the beginning of the next week.
As far as we know, the issue is only related to the mac demo.

Thanks. At least I'll get to give it a try now. By the way, the mac link is broken because it doesn't include the whole path. I got there by copying and pasting the whole path though.

If you are a Novation Automap user and updating Eloquence from 1.0 to 1.0.1, make shure that you first remove the old version(1.0) in Components, VST and Automap wrapped formats. I've reinstalled several times and was Ableton continued crushing at start up until i removed Automap wrapped Eloquence.
