Thanks... release a bank sounds way too formal for me. I may post some presets with a 'use at your own risk' warning!zvenx wrote:I love the bubbly (not to be confused with blubbery) stuff you are doing with zebra.. are you going to release a bank of these gems?

love that comment... Urs should make some audio gadget that plays that in the forum every 3 minutes or so... and maybe that can be a demo limitation sound hehehedjsubject wrote:zvenx wrote:(not to be confused with blubbery)

Can zebra 2.5 allow for a fat, squelchy bottom end like MASSIVE? Not bubbly bass, but very fat, gritty and low bass?
I have yet to come across a patch such as that. you know, for electro-house music.

Zebra 2.3 can already do that. If you don't like the basic sound then use the internal EQ with OSC FX

If I'm thinking of the same kind of sound, there's some clearly presented in http://www.u-he.com/PatchLib/presets/z2 ... _vol.1.zip -- not that there aren't plenty of sounds in other places (including factory bank) that can do this, but this bank is particularly focused towards that.GMusic wrote:Can zebra 2.5 allow for a fat, squelchy bottom end like MASSIVE? I think enabling some glide on a monophonic bass (maybe in the 30.00 to 40.00 range [e] maybe 20-30 is better) and making sure range is up to maximum can generate some good sound. Going with a dominant bandpass rather than a dominant low pass filter is also worth checking out. The sound I think you're thinking about, is done a lot in break-ier genres and (polyrhythmic) modulation of a band pass is a good starting point.
