What is your host : Cubase ? Logic ? ... Did you put the right file in the component folder ?

What version of Logic are you using? You'll need version 7.2 or higher.

I'd verify that it passed the AU validation within the Audio units manager.
(Under Logic Pro then Preferences menus for the last couple of versions of Logic).
You should rescan the plugin if necessary.

the host is logic.. and it doesnt reconize the plugin. thats the problem. even when i manually go into the audio units section it doesnt show that its there.

anyone?!:/

It's not because of your processor: it will work fine on your Intel core 2.

Before you bought the full thing, did you try the demo version? Did that one work OK?

Is the AU component in the right place (either /MacHD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components, or ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components)?
Architect, the modular MIDI toolkit, beta now available for macOS, Windows, and Linux.

Can you confirm where Sylenth1 is installed?

FYI Mine is located at :
Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Sylenth1.component

(Edit .... beaten to it by CPB!)

theres no componenet there. the only componenet is the one under Plugins/Vst. and i did try the demo.. worked fine. and im using logic 8

That'll explain why it's not showing in Logic - it must have gotten removed or deleted.

Try downloading the demo and re-install and see if that puts the AU component in the directory.

If it works then you can then authorize the demo with your license key if I remember correctly.
