Newbie question about Zebra's oscillators and midi

I would like to have long midi notes on my sequencer so that the sound is constantly evloving. While the sequencer is playing, I can play with the oscillators to make the sound change, but is there a way to do this through midi control?

If you're talking about automating the waveform points inside the oscillator tab then no, you can't.
What you can do is modulate the wave knob and have it switch between all 16 waveforms. Be sure to adjust the resolusion knob as that will color the sound differently depending on how quickly or slowly you modulate the Wave knob.

You left out a lot of info there. Like what midi controller and daw, are you using.
Just right-click (ctrl-click mac) on any parameter you want the midi to control, then click on the open menu "midi learn". Then move a knob, a little on your controller, and see what happens.

I tend to do a lot of step sequencing and enter the notes on the sequencer directly with a mouse, so I don't use a keyboard. I am currently using Fruity Loops, Reaper, and Ableton Live for a DAW.

Check your daw's manual for how to do that.
edit: Using Live, might be better at doing that too.

My common recomendation is to automate (or MIDIlearn) the XY-controls. Then, for whatever parameter you want to control (e.g. Osc1 Tune), you can right-click on the knob and assign that knob to be controlled by any X or Y. The advantage of this is, you can for instance control the tuning of 4 oscillators by just a single XY axis, because you can stuff up to 8 knobs into each X and Y.
