Hi,
I'm new to both Sonar 7 and Artillery. Could someone please give me a step-by-step guide to installing and using artillery as an effect that I can control by my MIDI keyboard in Sonar 7? Just can't seem to get it working :(

Many thanks in advance!

Hi,

1. assign Artillery 2 as fx in an audio track.

2. Then assign it to a midi track in the midi targets menu.
This menu comes up in the bottom of the track inspector
and shows the available audio tracks and midi ports.

That way you can trigger Artillery2 with midi.

I can send you screenshots if you like, just write to info@sugar-bytes.de

Got it. Thanks Robert :hyper:
I was having trouble getting my head around inserting Artillery2
a) as a soft synth
b) into an independant audio track to drive the MIDI track

Loving this

Hiya,

I've just got Sonar 8 - I can't find a "Midi Targets menu" in Sonar at all. I can use Artillery (CM edition) using the mouse, but not using a keyboard. This means I can't automate. Can you help me out? I've tried the Sonar Help file but it doesn't reference a Midi Targets Menu either. :-(

Like I say, I can add the VST plug in, I can use it via mouse control but can find no way of controlling it via midi.

Cheers

If Artillery is configured as synth you can create and route a miditrack to artillery.
If it still does not work write to info[at]sugar-bytes.de and i will send you some screenshots.
