Although, I'm back from vacation...so I have less time to devote to it.

@hakey: I think the rule that you started before, about having the people who entered patches, wait for the last few days to vote, is a good one.
Simply because people can deduct from which patches,(those that entered) who's patches are who's. Not that people would vote with any kind of bias, but to not give that oppurtunity a chance.

I agree - I voted early this time around just to get things going. There were so few participants that I was worried that the whole thing would fizzle out

On a positive note, I quite like that people are giving reasons for their choices when voting

I'm up for doing a patch for the fourth competition - having done a bunch of drumsets in different synths for the One Synth Compos, I think I can do something worthwhile.

What's the deadline for voting in Contest 3? I didn't see one in the voting thread but I may have missed it.
