It keeps going to 2.3 mode, but I'd rather just either have it toggled always 2.3 or always 2.5

thanks
then your presets would not sound right!

Wow. Just. Wow.

Thanks again Urs! I should really send you some more money for all your hard work (I almost feel like stealing from you since I can't even remember when I originally paid for Zebra, like years ago ;) )

I'll have tons'o'fun with this one for sure!

they may not sound as programmed, but that doesn't make them not right ;)
once it is an option the user can decide how they want to hear them.

hehe... in many cases I am sure you will agree with not right!! Especially there are xmf patches that sound like crap in 2.5 (and yes they did sound good in 2.3 :-)) XMF changed a lot and some patches I cannot reproduce in 2.5 at all!!

of course I don't object to an option to keep it in 2.5 mode... I just wont be using it cause I would have to switch to 2.3 mode to hear what it was supposed to be then back.

Well there could be two options, you check one off.

-Always 2.5

-Compatibility mode (auto switch to 2.3 on old patches)

No skin beats the Unempty Darkhorse.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to this weekend for udating (upgrading?:)) to v2.5!
The more I hang around at KVR the less music I make.

I just changed Zebra2 to the new version. The title bar
indicates version 2.5 but the GUI is still 2.3.3.
Any suggestions?
Cheers,

Same here. WinXP, Sonar7. It did require a license re-entry, which worked well, but I still don't get the new GUI. I do think I have the new filters, because these are better than the ones I remember from yesterday.

Edit: Definitely the new filters.

Double Edit: Deleted the old version before installing, and now everything's working fine and dandy.

Is it possible to do some sort of woodgrain? Zebrawood maybe? You know, just to warm up the sound a bit.

I went to 5 different studios and collected dust from all their top analog gear and distributed it over a white sheet of paper. I then photographed that using film (not digital) and used it as a background texture for Zebra. You would not believe the sonic difference...

I think we saw that on class trip to the zoo when I was in fifth grade. We thought it was pretty damn funny.
