Urs,
I was able to get the new version working under Leopard, so it
may be a Tiger issue on Mac. Let me know if you need me to check
anything for you in this regard. I'm glad I was able to get it
to work in any case and give it a big thumbs up!
Cheers,
Scott

Had the same problem as well.rexlapin wrote:Urs,
I just changed Zebra2 to the new version. The title bar
indicates version 2.5 but the GUI is still 2.3.3.
Any suggestions?
Cheers,
Scott
But I did have zebra installed twice (in vst plugins and in programs/uhe)
So I played safe and removed both and reinstalled into vstplugins.
Copied back my presets and then everything was fine.
I still need more time to play with it but first impression is awesome!
You'll want to play in a big PA and really disturb your neighbors with loud distorted screaming leads and basses
btw, The youtube video is a very clear description of the filter modes.
Thanks!

At this time i'm completely satisfied! That's just brilliant stuff, bringing Zebra to the next level. I will try the demo today and start preparing my wallet to this. 10/10. Hell, and i was skeptical before.Urs wrote:
Interesting to see new feature set list. New GUI is so pleasant and giving creativity feeling.

Thanks for the update Urs, but may I ask a question about skinning...
I have edited the "Zebra2orig.txt" file to make the preset text full white (ffffffff), and wish to change the red text to white as well.
Could you please point me towards the correct description for the red text in the centre console? ie: osc, vcf, etc.
Sadly, my eyes are thrown into some other reality when red text on dark backgrounds appear

Thought, off the back of this : Will there be an updated plugin dll/whatever name/ID so that you can still use the old version in parallel with the new one?GMusic wrote:Well there could be two options, you check one off.

-Compatibility mode (auto switch to 2.3 on old patches)

Looks like experimentation is the answer....Urs wrote:I have no idea... but it must be some orange text like ff8000ff.
Is there anyone higher-up that I could ask.....

Why? Z2.5 in Z2.3 mode is supposed to be 100% compatible to old settings/projects...whyterabbyt wrote:Will there be an updated plugin dll/whatever name/ID so that you can still use the old version in parallel with the new one?

Urs, I can honestly say I dont know what the hell I was thinking. I'm somewhat f**ked up by a sinus headache right now, and somehow I'd got it into my head that if one instance opened up in 2.3 mode, that was it for all running instances. And I know exactly how stupid that is. I may go home and lie down now.Urs wrote:Why? Love the new sound of the filters Urs! Is there going to be a permenant 2.3/2.5 toggle then?
And will my Commercial Soundbanks (Transmission/Oldskool/Science) etc...all be working fine when 2.5 is released? And any presets i have created of my own using 2.2?
Thanks
(sorry if it has already been answered)
