It's not fixed, and that's not odd thing. It's plain stupid for business in a long run.blazarian wrote:So is this thing fixed or not? Kinda odd thing to not fix it almost right away.

I am sure a chosen few communicate with Lennard, however I am starting to think this is abandon where, I don't use this "great" synth anymore because of the GUI issue effects my work, flow. Not sure what to do, perhaps seek a refund(thinking out loud), I mean no disrespect, but how long should a consumer be patient without any type of reassurance, from the client, far too many months have past, and staying quite seems to transcended into rudeness, sorry.

Maybe Lennard will release Sylenth V2 very soonHappy Frog wrote:I am sure a chosen few communicate with Lennard, however I am starting to think this is abandon where, I don't use this "great" synth anymore because of the GUI issue effects my work, flow. I want to be patient, I get that he isn't obliged to communicate, yet, this bug is a real problem for many, as indicated through posts, and will only naturally create these types of posts, and regrettably I don't want to voice my opinion, I think a sense of urgency through no fault of his own has brought this. He has had a past to learn from.

Hi, Rob
I will go with "assuming", as the operative word. I honestly hold out hope for an update soon, with dare I saw more waves.

The memory leak has not been "properly" addressed. It's fine to an extent that you choose not to acknowledge this, however far too much time has passed and you clearly demonstrate that you ignore some of your costumers, please Lennard if you don't want to talk about what your working on in conjunction to this bug fine, at least recognized this contradicts your website:
you might expect that this synth would max out even the fastest CPU in no-time, especially considering the high sound quality of each single voice and effect. Well, one of the many benefits of this synth is that it doesn't. It uses highly optimized code and SSE instructions in order to reduce the CPU usage to a minimum.
There is no fine print, rendering this statement, well incorrect.
Believe or not, I mean you no disrespect,
Happy Frog

^^ Lennard's on the preset post on this forum all the time, just not responding to this issue.
If i was as angry as you over a dev, I think I'd just sell the synth and move on.

Why should he sell his synth and move on?
As a paying customer, doesn't he have every right to expect a serious issue be fixed? Or at least to be told why it hasn't or won't be?
I won't be buying this product until it's fixed, and maybe never judging by the poor support.

^^ Never said he should do anything, simply said what i'd do.
Of course you've got the right to expect whatever support you expect, it's entirely up to you, as is whether you buy the synth or not.
