lounge Lizard upgrade?

I downloaded Lounge Lizard 3.0.0 (which is quite an old version) to try it out. I want to buy it but there is a bug that is fixed in a newer version (3.1.2) and the bug is a showstopper for me: if you hit the same notes repeatedly with the sustain pedal down, the old notes continue sounding, building up until the voice limit is reached.
Is it possible to upgrade LL3 to the latest version?

FYI, I got a response from Muse Tech support, they got back to me promptly. The answer is no, you cannot upgrade Lounge Lizard beyond 3.0.0 at this time.
I won't be buying, alas. I'm surprised more people have not found this to be a serious bug.

Love to know who you spoke to in tech support! Although it is true you can't upgrade beyond 3.0 at this time, we are talking with Applied Acoustics about an update of all their stuff, including working in Strum. We love their software... it is really just a matter of "when" and not "if"...keykent wrote:FYI, I got a response from Muse Tech support, they got back to me promptly. I would like to voice support for bringing the "when" to fruition! The note build up bug has been a concern for me, though lately I largely love Lounge Lizard, lads and ladies! (are there any ladies on this forum?)

I second your request for support of a Receptor happy update of v. 3.1.2. I have this random note ping out on a specific song live and it's killing me. It always seems to occur on the song where LL is the most exposed. It's forced me to temporarily switch to a vastly inferior plug.nathankingcole wrote:I would like to voice support for bringing the "when" to fruition! Any news on this? I have and use LL (but can't with my receptor as this bug makes it unplayable) I also have and love Strum AC and EL. It would be cool to have them on my ReceptorBryan@MuseResearch wrote: Love to know who you spoke to in tech support! Can anyone explain why it's not possible to replace the 3.0 DLL with the 3.1 version and just rename it the same?
I know this doesn't work because I tried it! In fact, I had to restore my hard drive from a disk image because going back to V3.0 didn't work.
