Since some days I have a strange phenomenon
(using windows vista):
when searching for a file inside a mulab folder/file selection box
(e.g. when trying to import a midi file) I can not see any longer
the vista special folders (like "music", "pictures" and so on) !
I suppose it is an issue rised by the combination of mulab's native view to folders and files, and the fake mechanism used by vista to redirect some folders.
Only "nasty" change I have done in the past was installing new window skin (theme), but could this be the reason ?
Also using the favorite shortcuts in the mulab file selection box
does not work any more (for these special folders).
Any idea, any hint ?

No, they are not hidden,Are they marked as 'hidden'?
they are shown in windows explorer as usual.
They are also visible in other directory tools,
but e.g. in "Total commander" also strange view,
e.g. "Music" is shown in tree view, but not in flat dir/file pane.
I think it's based on the damned (sorry) vista feature which re-directs some directories or does renaming of folders for localisation (e.g. "pictures" shown as Bilder or MeineBilder, ...).
Think it's no special mulab issue, just wondering what happened.

Mu.Lab's browser won't show shortcuts to folders. If you changed the locations of these folders explorer will still show them (a shortcut actually) in your user folder, but in Mu.Lab you have to go to the actual location in order to see the folders.

issue solved.
root cause was the "system"-attribute,
which was set for some folders, e.g. "Music"
(don't know why it was set, might be a theme-design-tool did it).
I hope the manual reset of the system-flag has no other impact.
