I don't think I've ever thanked you properly for this Urs, so I just wanted to say that I never use any other synths any more (or even consider it for that matter) and that this update is amazing.

No, I didn't.
It's always been tricky with Kore. You have to delete a certain file. Check this thread:
Yes that worked. But Kore 2 doesn't show the presets I've made
(with comments, ratingsetc ) with the older version. That was much work.
Is there a way to see all Kore presets

Urs :
Seems to be FL related, loads fine in XT2.
intel quad q6600 here, that one should have SSE2?Do you have a non-SSE2 machine? I thought I uploaded a version which switches to fallback routines...

Qw, music from twelve weeks in quarantine is now streaming on spotify and bandcamp. This is a collaboration with the the smallest of worlds VR art project, that documents our living spaces in times of isolation. You can join their project here.

Hi Urs - Love 2.5b6. Making the thing permanent with the final release as I think the sound is great and this is shaping up to be a bread and butter instrument for me.
Reaper 3 seeing Zebra 2.5beta fine with no issues in installing or using that I can discern after the beta6 update (levels on 2.3 patches are very loud but that aside). Using Reaper x86 on a Win 7 x64 install with Echo Gina3G for sound, Intel Core2Duo E8400, 4Gb Ram and ATI 4870 1Gb vid card.
Thanks for the work and looking forward to the final release where I divi up some cash your way for a well worth VSTi.

Leave ones footprint in that of the mind not the physical world. We have screwed it over enough.

I always leave my PMs sit for at least a month before reading them so as not to overwork the KVR server.Urs wrote:Ouch, did I mention I'm slightly overworked?MCnoone wrote:Yes. I pm'ed you when I recieved it, last month.

That sounds comfortable! The KVR server has a different policy for me... it keeps threatening me with "Your Inbox is 97% full" - and then I have to part with 50 or so messagesbillstei wrote:I always leave my PMs sit for at least a month before reading them so as not to overwork the KVR server.Urs wrote:Ouch, did I mention I'm slightly overworked?MCnoone wrote:Yes. There's nothing more humiliating than to be reprimanded by a silicon based lifeform.Urs wrote: That sounds comfortable! The KVR server has a different policy for me... it keeps threatening me with "Your Inbox is 97% full" - and then I have to part with 50 or so messages

I'm not a KORE expert. You may want to ask aMUSEd or ew, or maybe even the NI forum. I can see no reason why your presets should be lost though - Zebra 2.5 is fully backwarts compatible to Zebra 2.3. I think that not even the number of parameters that the host can see has changed. So, to the host there's no difference between 2.3 and 2.5echopark wrote:No, I didn't.

What happens when you reinstall 2.3? Do your KORE presets then come back?

A couple of possible bugs:
1.If I switch to duophonic the pitch drops, in some cases by an octave, sometimes by two.
2.Change some of my patches from 2.3 to 2.5,then play notes on different keys one after the other, the second note has a kind of ducking effect at the start. Switch to legato mode and the ducking doesn't occur.

This is strange - I can't think of any reason the Kore sounds would not show and in my experience even if the plugin sometimes vanishes after an update until the database cache ksd file is deleted and rescanned any Sounds or templates I've made with it still show up regardless and still load the plugin too (in fact my trick of placing my template inside the database cache folder has cured it of disappearing anyway). I made a bunch of Kore Sounds with a version of Zebra older than 2.3 and they are still showing as is my 3AM set which was made with 2.3. Can;'t think of anything that would do this other than accidental deletion of the files or changing paths to user files??Urs wrote:I'm not a KORE expert. Forgot to add teh +/-24 notes global tuning to Duophonichakey wrote:A couple of possible bugs:

Yes, that's a mysterious one. Seems to also be related to Glide2, right?2.Change some of my patches from 2.3 to 2.5,then play notes on different keys one after the other, the second note has a kind of ducking effect at the start. Switch to legato mode and the ducking doesn't occur.

I haven't found it with Glide2 (yet). For the patch I'm looking right now - a simple Osc into XMF with some Glide - if I turn Glide1 off (down to zero) the ducking ceases.Urs wrote:Yes, that's a mysterious one.
