Imagine that Patch/Script files could be *pushed* (rather than pulled) into Zebra via an IP address/port. Then a mad scientist type person could write an auxiliary program (with a silly name) that can send live (or semi-live) edits into Zebra, rather than having the slower generate-save-load workflow. As an example of what you could smoke in a pipe like this, a program that intelligently designs MSEG sequences or Arp sequences, and updates Zebra live with the changes.

I hope you don't think that I qualify as the mad scientist. He would, at a bare minimum, need to have a Jacob's Ladder, or an old computer reel-to-reel tape drive spinning in the background with a panel of meaningless blinking lights and switches. Granted, I have a beautiful female assistant who knows almost nothing about science, but that's unlikely to make anyone completely mad.Urs wrote:
