Do you mean less elegant code?
Brownfields means "Altlasten", or areas of polluted soil.

There are many things that I wished I had done differently. With 2.5 I can correct some of these, e.g. the notoriously instable Highpass filters and the annoyingly loud LP Allround (which for some is now the best sounding filter in Zebra alltogether).
LP Allround

Dumb question perhaps, but what are the 3 little icons under the multi-osc selection window?

- inv/PWM (adds an inverted waveform, makes pwm out of sawtooth)
- Sync On/Off
- Phase Reset On/Off

These were previously hidden under the phase tab and are now easier to access... same as the multi-osc selection which previously was buried in the mix tab

And very nice too Urs...

Phase Reset...something seriously lacking in Largo :)

Those three icons were always available in the Oscs, ever since 2.0 released. Urs just streamlined the Osc setup with 2.5, making it easier to edit settings w/o switching panes.

the old way was with small on/off buttons near the relevant knob. I definitely prefer this method though since it shows at a glance what osc is the sync/pwm/reset osc in a synth sound.

BTW Rob, hope you've been enjoying Z2. Once it "clicks" you'll probably wonder why people say Z2 is hard to program. ;)

There are Betas available now that are quite stable. If you prefer to not go with a beta then the best answer is probably "soon".

@bmrzycki

Enjoying it...Oh yes  I haven't even scratched the surface yet,iv'e owned alot of hardware and software over the years and finally i hit the jackpot :) as for Z2 being hard to program..well everything takes time but as Urs mentioned there above about me and Zeb clicking..he's spot on with that statement.
I could write a list 4 pages long and still not be able to describe what i like about Zebra..I can tell you one thing that is that Zebra will be employed totally in my next release on Beats Digital around 15th december.
Also i have those other 2 projects that im committed to finish but after that im sure i'll start working on no less than 3 soundsets that i have ideas for Zebra.
That should take up a good part of 2010 alone :) Also the free and factory banks that come with Zebra are so inspiring..
Is there anything that Z2 can't do hehe :)

I would like to mention something regarding the programming of Z2 to anyone finding it daunting at first glance and that is to dive in there and delve deep..you'll get there in the end.
I can see why many of Zebra's sounds are featured in professional productions compared to hardware costing X amount of thousands :)

So the answer to URS is yes i have clicked with Z2 in an instant and its' now my synth of choice for the long term future in sound design and music production..
Wow that was a long answer...

Foreign slang? Kind of - it's a pun: Hyperbo-Lee = Hyperbole = Ancient Greek for bigging something up.

(We like puns around here :hihi: )
