Yes. The other issue is definately in the swing section, not in the arp...mabian wrote:Arp swing noises on loop play are still there in beta 7, just for the record. I guess that the arp fixes are "limited" on the modmatrix recent problems, right?

I'll do that with the next update.Echoes in the Attic wrote:Has the installer been added to the download file yet? Would be cool to ditch the cut off pixel issue.

Oh... I'll try that one... I couldn't really reproduce the ducking effect here... the thing is, these small and seemingly mysterious bugs can have vast side effects. I really need to fix it before even thinking about release...aka_bip wrote:I'm getting what could be described as ducking when I set Arksun's BASS Creamy patch to 2.5 mode. Not a big deal though, everything else seems to be working great.
ThanksAlso, I love the new GUI.

I thought it had gone, but I get it every time with HS Duke of Leeds - sounds ok in 2.3, switch to 2.5 and play one note quickly after another and it's there. Selecting polyphonic mode and playing a chord makes it even more obvious.Urs wrote:Oh... I'll try that one... I'm getting a small crash in Cubase 4 when trying to use UNDO when drawing partials in waveform window. Normal knobs and parameters works fine.

There is value in the resizing the GUI. But the pulldown is inefficient as the primary interface. Why not two buttons? Bigger and smaller. Rightclick on either for currentlt implemented menu choices.Urs wrote:P.S.: No worries, GUI resize is a set-in-stone feature. It can still do with improvements, but other than that it's a general feature of all current and coming versions of my stuff
Faster for just making it bigger or smaller by one....which is what I'm guessing most users do anyway.
Just sayin...

I just downloaded this beta version, and it's very impressive, a future buy probably.
Anyway, I hate the way it puts its data files in the windows program files folder.
Is there a way to keep everything clean, in the dll folder ?
Thanks

I had a ducking issue today. Using my own preset.
I have Zebra installed on my non Internet laptop and as usual on a Sunday morning, fired up Reaper with a project from a month or so back. The sound was ducking every 2/3 seconds and the GUI had something like "Demo has expired" across it. I tried to re-input the Serial code but it was already registered. The version in use was 2.5 which I had installed over 2.3 last weekend. The Reaper project would have been using version 2.3 when it was last opened a month or so ago, but today it would have loaded 2.5 as version 2.3 no longer exists on my laptop.
In the end I completely uninstalled every piece of Zebra files I could find and re-installed. Everything was fine once I registered the code again.
I didn't think that the Demo/unexpired version did that (thought it was supposed to go out of tune) and anyway it was fully registered. Something strange going on there I presume...
Dunno if any of the above info helps at all.

Working on it. I just need to find a way to deal with hosts that are oblivious to this kind of changes...BradP wrote:Being able to resize the GUI is great but it would be nice if it would remember what size I had it at last.

The final version will give you a choice. There will basically be either a directory with the support file/patches within Vstplugins, or there'll be a shortcut (.lnk) to the very directory anywhere else.easymode wrote:Anyway, I hate the way it puts its data files in the windows program files folder.

again, apologies for being late to this party...
b7 looks really really nice - I like it darker and the green pops out much better, so well done.
Also, I haven't kept up with this thread, but can someone quickly tell me why when I switch from 2.3 mode to 2.5 mode, most presets sounds crisper and punchier?

All filter algorithms have been tweaked a bit, I think they sound sort of more focused in terms of drive/frequency spectrum in relation to 2.3 filters. It's minor but clear adjustments.nebulae wrote: Also, I haven't kept up with this thread, but can someone quickly tell me why when I switch from 2.3 mode to 2.5 mode, most presets sounds crisper and punchier?
