MeldaProduction is now on keyfiles! And everything is updated!

Hey folks,

I know several people were waiting for this, so here you are .
All our software including MDrummer and all effects have been updated. The activation system now uses keyfiles, so it does not rely on internet connection and you can use the software on all your machines.

Moreover all our plugins are now truly resizable (just try grabbing the border ) and stylable. Plus some more improvements.

Well, enjoy!

If you are already a user, this is a major update, so please download new installers (except for MDrummer). You do not need to reactivate the sw, it is completely backwards compatible.

Erm... you went there from challenge/response? After querying your user base, both current and potential, through this site? Wow... bold move. Receiving trust feels extremely good and makes one trust back. What is it again that you sell? I remember downloading a demo, but don't remember what it was... anyway, I'll find out and probably buy it just for the policy change :-)

Thanks for all the updates. You've been working hard! I have seven MeldaP Product/bundles. A lot of finding various download pages. Answering questions. Downloading. A lot of updating. At the moment I MUCH prefer the old way of doing things from the start-menu application. If I find out where the people who were complaining (about the old reliable system) live, I will not be responsible for my actions! I will plead insanity and the judge will understand, and let me go free . . .

Wow, very bold move and a great way to show that you guys listen to responses. I personally didn't have a problem with the old way, but of course agree that a key file will be much easier to deal with in the future.

I haven't updated yet, so I can't check out the resizable plugs, but it sounds great. I'm definitely looking forward to it all.

OK! I seem to have downloaded everything except MDrummer Large which has been erm dowloading since last night. I did manage to update that already using the Start-Menu Update application this morning! That's not supposed to happen, or is it?

First up; I have all of my key files. I received these three times yesterday. Plus three times the other notifications that go with them.

After navigating through all the bloody pages in order to get the files and download them. I am now attempting to do my first re-install.

MDynamics:

I'm going through the Install process. I get to a page which says; Drop your license file here. I navigate to the correct file I received yesterday and drop it on the box. I get the error; Sorry, no appropiate licence has been found. So I click on 'I don't have a licence file, only a licence key' and am directed to yet another web page, in order to fill out another form.

Should I try another of the other three versions of MDynamics license key files that I received in my e-mails yesterday, or something else? I may have deleted any e-mails I assumed were duplicates already!

Hi Aloysius,

that's what happened yesterday - there was some technical error on the way and people received usually empty licence files. So please use the last one or I can send it again. If it won't work, please send it to me to info@meldaproduction.com and I'll check it.

Yesterday was a hard day ...

Anyway you updated MDrummer - that's fine. Downloading 3.5 GB again is too hard, moreover you would still need to update it (I didn't assume someone would really try to download newest installers for MDrummer, as they are so huge). The fact that you managed it using update manager is also ok, it's just that I was a little worried about it.
The best way is to download the last update installer from the download page. I'll send an email, just in case...

Hmm . . OK! Now I know what an 'empty' key-file is. It all went very smoothly apart from the corrupt installers I had to redownload again.

Please confirm;

Will the Start-Menu Update Manager work again now for future updates?

If your answer is YES, then we can be friends again but I'm never speaking to the busy-body who suggested this 'great idea' to begin with. Someone who probably doesn't even own many if any of your products. Twat!

The re-sizing function is cool! But it only works with MDynamics and MDrummer on my System, unless I missed something somewhere. Perhaps I have not developed the 'soft-touch' technique yet!

MDrummer Update/License File Question: Will the regular method of updating MDrummer through Start Menu take care of 2.17 and also recognize/associate new license file for MDrummer? If not, what is simplest method to associate new license file? Is any additional installer or MDrummer file(s) necessary to download?

MCreative Bundle Question: Is there a bundle installer package available for these updates and association of bundle license file, or is there a separate installer for each plug (several single installers)?

Yeah! Sure! It is just there were some more complicated changes in 2.0, so we decided to force people get the newest installers.

Yes! it should all be fine. But please use the downloadable update installer if possible.

MCreativeBundle is available as a bundle installer as you'd expect - right from the bundle webpage .

Hehe, yep, working on it, but mac is so unfriendly for developers ... No really, we didn't have much recently from obvious reasons (everyone want something ). But it will come eventually

Thanks Vojtech! I am glad we can get back to normal and be friends again! I had a few corrupt installers because of bad downloads but everthing is just GREAT now.

Need to perfect my contract and s-t-r-e-t-c-h (resize) tehnique though . . .
