Better get working on mine then - less than two weeks to go everyone!

I did say that I would do some simple percussion tutorials to get people started with this task and, erm, well I've been fairly busy and making the most of the almost passable weather - is there still any interest in this - would it be useful for anyone? It wouldn't be anything fancy, just basics like making a basic kick and snare, and using the MSEG's as sequencers - that type of thing.

I could have sworn that I'd put GMT in bracketsbmrzycki wrote:For clarification on the reminder. That's Sun Oct 4 0:00 GMT/UTC. Don't forget to adjust to your local time zone.

Man, time is running out!
3 weeks, creeps up fast! I've got one finished (but could use some additional tweaks) and have another only somewhat finished.
Hope this contests results in some great patches!
Any ideas for the next contest? Maybe not this very next one, but some time in the future it'd be cool to have a contest for evolving textures.

I was thinking an interesting contest would be to take any free preset from the PatchLib and only be allowed to add XY's and performance controllers to it. You can't change anything directly and you can't add/remove any other modules/waveforms/etc. Then the person would submit the original preset and the "remixed" one with whatever XY defaults they choose. Maybe you can change the play mode from retrigger to poly for example, not sure on that.elxicano wrote:Any ideas for the next contest? I say this because I think it's a great way to learn or discover new things about synthesis in Z2. I have a feeling few people start from a 0 module rack...

Yeah, events got away from me this time (home maintenance, dog surgery). I only have one patch completed so far, and I doubt I'll get a chance to do another. Blurgh.
Edit: Managed to do a 2nd patch. Yay.
