Hey Scott,

I tested the <> button on FL8 with at least 20-30 presets but didnt crash.
Do you remember which tab of SynthMaster was active, could it be the LFOs? I just fixed a GUI crasher related to the LFOs.

Update :),1.9.9.24- When I load SM the "synth" tab is loaded.

when scrolling with <> button on FL8 it crashes/sound stops, I get to "WaveTable PAD 1 IW"
and if I switch to the "Browser" tab I can pick most sounds but if I choose a "PAD" sound or PD sounds it crashes, also I'm finding that if I switch between sounds that have reverb or echo before the fade completely I get a crash.

Also, I just tried SM on my laptop which has Vista 32bit and I got the same results as above and also found that if I try selecting a sound from the browser tab nothing happens and I have to reload SM.

Hope this info helps guy.

This week hopefuly I'll figure out this crash/no sound issue. Those are the two showstoppers for us for now.

BTW, I have good news on our new user interface: Hills93 is creating a really nice looking default skin with SkinMan/KnobMan tools. The advantage of those tools is that it'll be trivial to skin SM2 once we have a base design with SkinMan/KnobMan

I finally got a crash when switching from LD Xenos Supersaw 2 to LD Xenos Supersaw. This happened on the standalone version of build 24.

I hope this bug is not random... I'll debug it tonight when I go back home.

Here's one scenary I discovered:

1. Go to the preset browser, select an author (Xenos).
2. Click on a preset that starts with BA (Bass)
3. Click on the following category to further filter the presets: Lead, now the browser displays Leads that Xenos created :D
4. Click on prev/next buttons: Crash

So yes, clicking on prev/next buttons during browsing presets through the build in preset browser might cause a crash. Will fix it tonight asap.

I just ran through all of the presets from Bulent's to Lotuzia in Beta25 Stand-alone without a single crash. Didn't have time to try them all!

Hiya, I've tried the 1.9.9.25(I downloaded it from the 1.9.9.24 email as I did not get an email for 1.9.9.25 ) and it seemed to be ok when I installed(unrared)it on my PC(my main PC x64) this was about 11:00AM Eastern Time US. And when I returned home at about 8:30PM and turned on my PC(my main PC x64)the bug has returned as before with the addition of when scrolling through the presets in "Browser" mode part of the sound from the "prev" sound hangs even when scrolling through the other sounds, I try pressing the stop button in FL but the hanging sound remain as kind of a hum.

I just tried on the Vist laptop and the same thing has returned but not the
"addition of when scrolling through the presets in "Browser" mode part of the sound from the "prev" sound hangs even when scrolling through the other sounds, I try pressing the stop button in FL but the hanging sound remains as kind of a hum."
part.

Hope the info help .

I just tried the stand alone on both of my computers and get a "SynthMaster has encountered a problem and needs to close" message after scrolling through a about 3-4 sounds in "browser" and in "synth" mode. Hmmm..

This bug I fixed had to do with filtering presets, anyhow at least I fixed that one.

Ooooo! Thant is Nice! I think SM is going to be one of the best investments I've made! Also I think this is going to be great for people who wish to learn sound design as I am. Keep up the great work :)

Ah, f**k that I can't have my keyboard here. :P
Btw, I liked the old design, this looks like a minimalistic modern one, which I also like ;)
I'll download the new beta soon and start hunting
