IMO, no it doesn't. Wine is providing the platform for your plugin, which is still single-platform. Claiming cross-platform portability via emulators[*] makes a mockery of cross-platform support.

[*] Yes, I know Wine claims to not be an emulator, I don't know what it claims to be though, so emulator is a good enough term for here.

Exactly. It must be native to the platform to be considered native to the platform.

It's just a time issue. If someone wants to get involved and manage non-cash prizes feel free.
