oh okay thank you. well beta 9 is running great so far
Except the favorites forgetting is still there. Probably not a priority ATM, but just odd how it stopped working within the last couple betas or so.

Well, yeah... hmmm... not sure why. All I can say is, the crashes on gui close were partly related to saving the favourites. Maybe I took that out somehow and that's why it doesn't crash anymore... must investigate tomorrow...GMusic wrote:oh okay thank you. well beta 9 is running great so farExcept the favorites forgetting is still there. Urs,
Try the repro:
1. Using the default patch, turn on legato solo mode
2. Hold down a note with your left hand, play a note on and off with your right, like a trill.
3. Now switch to 2.5 mode, do the same and compare.
In 2.5b7 the first note I play with my left hand is much louder than subsequent notes (and no, not just because the attack portion of the envelope is only triggered with the first note)
In addition, the rest of the (non re-triggered envelope) notes appear to be randomly uneven in volume.
This happens in with Zeb 2.5b7 in both Live 7.014 and Live 8.05 so appear to be unrelated to the Live 8 update.
Cheers,
bagginz

Just got word from the beta team, both bugs which I think I fixed 100% are not fixed at all.
I'm getting a crisis. Feels a bit mindfucked here, because I was absolutely sure I found & fixed them.
Will give them another go tomorrow.

for some reason I thought U-he was Urs and somebody else. i thought I read something like "now two..." on the u-he website.
anyway, i hope you have some help Urs. that's a lot of work you're doing alone if not! You need to charge more
Well good luck. At least know you're working hard on the #1 synth regarded by many, so it's worth it

GMusic,
No worries, I'm getting a *lot* of help from all sides. The only thing nobody can help me with are structural bugs that are related to the architecture of the plug-ins. There's currently a thing where I've improved speed of some things that span across module borders, such as the ModMatrix and the XY-controls. That however had nasty side effects which are difficult to find, and then obviously as difficult to tackle.
Cheers,
Urs

Zebra2 really does deserve more. In an ideal world it would BE #1, it would sell better than the so-called competition... and make Urs richGMusic wrote:At least know you're working hard on the #1 synth regarded by many...

well, it's already #1... Just not enough people seem to know that compared to offerings from NI and Arturia.

To make that a reality you need to add sex to that.Howard wrote:Zebra2 really does deserve more. In an ideal world it would BE #1, it would sell better than the so-called competition... and make Urs richGMusic wrote:At least know you're working hard on the #1 synth regarded by many...

Yo,
Green Light from beta team, new beta 9 uploaded:
http://www.u-he.com/Z25b9Win.zip (VST Windows installer)
http://www.u-he.com/Z25b9Mac.zip (AU, VST & RTAS installer)
New in beta 9:
- Ducking bug really fixed now (was Win only)
- Aftertouch and global transpose worky in Duophonic mode
- various bugs fixed that may have confused ModMatrix/XYs when loading patches
- Favourite/Junk presets saved again (does that bring back crashes for some?)
Enjoy,
Urs

Hehe, Alpha is further away from release than Beta. Alpha means "early stages, not all features inside" while beta means "almost ready to go". In that way, yeah, we're almost about to go release candidatereplicator wrote:I feel this is close to AlphaOr maybe it is?
