makk wrote:Hi,

Long time no see!

I downloaded the latest version(v1.1).
But, it doesn't start with a error dialog.

Message is:
Environment Error
"This product in not compatible with the native windows environment.
Please contact the software manufacture for more infomation."

Could you try to download and install this
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en

If this doesn't fix your issue, could you try uninstalling Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package from Windows component removal window and try to install back the version from the URL above .

Let me know if this fix your issue.

Thanks,

Umm...I tried both these ways, but this issue hasn't been fixed yet.
It was a same result though I reinstalled UVIWS.

You shouldn't reinstall UVIW in the meantime, because it will install the culprit version of the binary I suspect is related to the issue.

Edit:
In the meantime, I've uploaded a new version of the installer with the right version of the DLL.
If you uninstall Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package from Windows component removal window, and install back this new version, hopefully, it should now work.

I got the same error message upon install..so, I followed the directions on this forum...uninstalled c++ then installed the download from microsoft...still wouldn't work...so, I ended up uninstalling all of 1.1 and reinstalling 1.016...and, yes, I downloaded the "new" installer that you posted just up me here...still no go....quite a hassel
Kind Regards:
Eric

I'm not sure, does the 1.0.16 works if you uninstall the 1.1.0 and install back the 1.0.16 ?

I have the same problem here. I had to go back to 1.0.16 after uninstalling.

I am on XP64 but I want to install both 32bit and 64bit versions. I have also tried with only the 32 bit version and it was saying the same message as above.

Thanx for your support.

I can't get the newest download version to work. I downloaded it twice and it has some error message saying it won't work. Probably because I use a download manager and had to stop and restart it.

I'll just use my old version. 2 downloads in 2 days in plenty.

I think the website is not download manager friendy and blacklist you temporarly if you use too much connections at the same time.
Try tomorrow without a download manager and it will work fine.

Sorry, I'm on dial-up and don't have time to download it all at once. Again, the old download is the better bet.
