You forgot to add "Plug-in window opens at full width now!" to the list of fixes. :D

That wasn't a fix really, thet would've worked before - had I only distributed it with the installer 8)

Post

btw, is it a good idea to include the Unempty Darkhorse skin, as it won't be updated anyway, and now even has a completely different layout than the original skin? may cause some confusion with new users, it would probably be wiser to remove it...

Post

it won't be udpated? :(.
Really sorry to hear that that was my favourite skin.

Hehe, Alpha is further away from release than Beta. Alpha means "early stages, not all features inside" while beta means "almost ready to go". In that way, yeah, we're almost about to go release candidate :)
 I was thinking backwards sorry, tired mind :) The final stage is so close that it is ringing on the doorstep. No pizzaman waiting there.

It might be updated, we'll see... it's not too much difference, just the additional Glide parameters and the new XMF modes...

Don't forget the new oscillator soft/crisp option too.

and the SideBand modules were never actually updated either.

Even if Urs decides not to update it (the Dark Horse skin), it'll be a matter of days before someone else does. All the tools are at hand, and there's plenty of people around that can do it. No shame in leaving it up to the community, bugs are more important now :) (not that i've found any using the latest beta tough).

Post

I think it'll actually be a piece of cake for me to update the Dark Horse with the built-in gui editor... I think...

Post

So what's need to be done before the final release?

Post

I wanted to ask that as well, but shied away, but since you brought it up :-)
What is the present ETA?

All the gui changes for Zebrify (2 days of work, really, at least...)

Some fine tuning, stuff like making XMF Overload automatable instead of the ditched "Bias" parameter. Make the editor window pop to the front in FL

Wait for the new factory bank to be finished (Howie?)

Some more gui stuff: Amber theme, Lower-Contrast-Theme without silver module backgrounds

Wait for Alex Hacke of Neubauten to finish his bank because we want to release it together (we'll have a meeting next Saturday) - this will probably take another week, giving me time to work on the manual and stuff... maybe...

Add & test the new installer for Win version (that's a big one with loads of testing for the shortcut stuff)

There was something else that was really important, but it slips my mind...

Oh, and there's still at least one mysterious bug left. I want to catch that one.

So, as always... no eta...

Cheers,

;) Urs

as always thanks for the feedback.
But based on what you said above, we should get it by Friday? ;)
lol
good luck.

By the way since you are doing an installer.. could you make the mac one so that you can choose NOT to load the factory bank?
I have set up both my mac and pc to have a folder called Factory Bank which I put all the Zebra factory presets in.....yes I am that anal rententive... but everytime a new update comes out I have to manually recopy them into that folder.... would be nice to tell it where or if to install the factory banks...both on mac and pc

yes clearly not a biggie, but since you have so much times on your hand :-)

I agree that Friday sounds good (because, what else would you do with all that free time?). :hihi:
