Yeah Cairns is nice. But hot as hell.Urs wrote:Maybe one should look into the tropical zone. Somewhere around Cairns maybe...
In Europe you can warm yourself up when it's cold, but here when it's hot the only thing you can do is spend a day in the sea or an air conditioned building. It's sometimes close to Dubai's level of heat and humidity. Much harder to espace the heat than the cold. Or even more importanly much harder to do anything in heat than in cold.
Perth has a nice climate though, much like South Africa's.

Heh, I am planning to come to Berlin in the beginning of February, during the Transmediale festival. Helsinki is even more depressing.Urs wrote:It's not a holdiday trip, but merely an escape from the depressing mood of Berlin winters.

By the way, not sure if anyone else mentioned this.. but when the GUI is set to large the lettering is not as clear as they should be..
also...Kontakt 4 has just joined, at least Overloud's TH-1, in having dynamically resizeable GUI..lower right and just drag the GUI to whatever size you want it, and the plug in remembers it from thenceforth..That to me the best of both worlds.....I haven't heard much reports about DAW hosts having problems with this resizeable ability.....
just wishing out loudly

Urs, mabian-broken record here
Any chance that swing arp gets fixed? I haven't seen mention in the beta 9 notes, so I guess it will be skipped?
Thanks,
Mario

Urs, you're a workaholic and a robot! I can't understand how you're able to do all that programming, designing and writing stuff and still have time for your wife and personal life. I think you're excellent at multitasking and managing your time, wish I was able to do it too!
When you take breaks/vacations, do you still work a little?
