I'm seeing an odd behavior in Zebra 2.3 where if I modify a patch at some point playing a single midi note results in a short, repeating sequences of notes being played, kind of like a tone row, that I can step through just by playing that one note. There is no arp set on the patches. I get the same thing in both Logic and Digital Performer. Once I close out the sequencer and restart the patches will play the correct notes in the sequence, or the notes that I'm playing in real time, but the behavior returns as soon after I edit a patch, and I haven't been able to find the exact thing that triggers it, just suddenly I realize I played a c and instead it played an a and then it starts the sequence.
Anyone come across this?
modifying a patch makes Zebra play a sequence of notes

Possibly Zebra thinks you're not registered and is operating in demo mode?

Hm, I think you're right. I checked the enter registration area and it was blank. I put in my registered name and the code I after I bought a license but it keeps telling me the code is incorrect. It's weird because I used it for a a while before this random note issue started.

When it successfully accepts the code, does it give any confirmation, or is there a place in the app where you can see it listed?

Hi,
please send me an email to urs@u-he.com. It's probably just a simple problem with file permissions when Zebra tries to save the license file. Or maybe your host swallows the space between your first name and your last name.
I can send you a license file that you can copy manually, this solves the trick in 99.9%
