Roland JD-990 Vintage board patches

I bought one with the Vintage Synth card on the net a few days ago. I haven't got it yet, so just wondering how many expansion cards can be installed at once, and what type of cards it supports. I know JV-SR cards will work. I have a Fantom XR wich can hold 6 SRX cards But I'm guessing I can't use those with the JD-990, can I? If someone could supply a complete list of the different card types and titles, that would be much appreciated.

Only the SR-JV80 expansion boards, and only one (+ one removable sample ROM card : SL-JD80 series).

At Synthmania you can find a list of all the SR-JV80 expansion boards + mp3 demos of the sounds, great if you want to compare them.

I guess the Vintage Synth is the best choice because it's the only one that comes with patches specialy made for the JD990 (on top of the JV ones) = lots of sounds!

I See from your posts you Have collected some Sysex patch banks of the vintage synth board for easy loading as well as some other banks in the past & was wondering if you'd be gracious enough to share them one last time...to help me out as many old links to JD banks im finding seem to be dead :/ ? or point me in the right direction. Many Thanks in advance for any help my friend!... much love & respect from Canada Cheers!
