We'd appreciate any sort of advertising for SynthMaster 2.0 :D
We have the right product at the right price and we have to make sure enough people become aware of this! Since until Christmas it is shopping season we'll continue our $59 introductory price until 12/25/09.

For example, Layer 1 2 Add-Oscs, with EQ, if i copy this layer to layer 2, and activated there the eq, layer 2 give no sound out :(
Until I make a new release turn on the Lofi that comes after the EQ :D

That should help you

And the reverb, will there come changes or a complete new reverb?

It would be cool to have an envelope to control the layer-fx, for the moment there are only the two "synth-LFOs" available.
Would it be possible to have an envelope for the "synth" or even being able to control the layer-fx with the "voice-controls"???

Really looking forward to this fantastic new GUI - Thanks !!

Ah and one little nitpick (sorry):
it feels (it really doesn't hurt ;-) ) a little bit strange when you drag a point of the envelope and the point moves in the opposite direction ... it depends on wether the left envelope-breakpoint is higher or lower than the right one - in one position the point inbetween follows the mouse in the other it moves the opposite way.
If it's too time consuming to resolve, perhaps it could come as a point update ??

Now I hope that I will have some time next week to make some more sounds ...

Well, the thing is: Layer FX is not per voice, and therefore they cant be controlled by voice LFOs.

I hadn't tried the SM2 demo in a while so I just downloaded it and tried it (v1.9.9.27) in Tracktion 3 and Reaper 3 (both using newest released versions).

In Tracktion v3.0.4.8, only a tiny bit of GUI shows (well - it's just a black area, not really the GUI). At least I can select presets and it seems to work OK.

Reaper v3.13 crashes when selecting SM2.

In my VST folder, I have SM1 and SM2 installed. SM2 was installed fresh, not over an existing SM2 installation. SM1 works properly in both hosts.

When I last tried the SM2 demo (week or two ago), it worked OK in both hosts.

SM2 standalone works OK.

(Another thing to mention - you sent me a license key file for SM2 and I have placed it in the correct location. Yet SM2 still runs as a demo.)

If you placed it under the same folder where SynthMaster2.exe/SynthMaster2.dll resides it should work.

I just noticed Comb filters are not working properly. Will debug that as well.

That's where I put it! Doesn't work for me.

The 2nd line of the file has "Version=1.0". Is that correct?

Did you download from the link in KV331's sig line or the link in the email with the license file? I don't think they're the same file (i.e. 'beta' != 'demo').

Exactly! They're different binaries. Maybe I should distribute another rar file that has only the exe/dll files which can be extracted over the demo?

There are actually 4 synth LFO. But how about that? I can add Layer 1 & 2 Envelopes as modulation sources how about that?

That's the problem! :dog:

Thanks! I assumed that the demo file was made "authorized" by the key file (some programs work that way). I didn't notice that the file should have been "SynthMaster2Beta.rar" rather than "SynthMaster2Demo.rar".

OK - I tried the beta version in Tracktion3 and Reaper3 with good results. Funny that the demo version had problems though.

Bulent - For my part, I wouldn't recommend distributing more files to install over the demo version - it could be more confusing. It was my mistake and I doubt that many others are making the same mistake.

Here's the problem on my part: The demo and beta have to be DIFFERENT because in the demo version some code is missing, such as the code for saving presets
