Seems to happen when I zoom in on a song, will test with other projects.

Yes, if you could find a repeatable pattern that would be great!

Morning,

I think it's somehow connected to automation parts and zooming in/ out a lot.

I'm just giving it another test and nothing , that's a strange one!

Maybe it's all the same bug (audio spikes, crashes, cpu spikes when doing stuff for the first time etc).

I've now had this problem too now. On a project with a lot of tracks - 3 of them automation only - I get a crash every time I zoom in past a certain point. I'll get some crash logs posted and do some more testing.

Sidenote - Wishlist on Zooming in ....

When zooming horizontal, it would be much better to zoom in and keep the position pointer in the center. That way it would be easy to zoom to a spot.

That's how it works in M3

Bonte, you're right, there's a bug there.

My apologies i confirmed this so late.

This bug will be fixed in MU.LAB 2.7 which will be released very soon.

(FYI: The MU.LAB 2.7 release is also related to the MU.LAB 3 test release; more info coming soon)

FYI: The zoom-in crash bug has been fixed in MU.LAB 2.7, meaning it won't crash anymore.

But there still is a display problem when zooming in a lot on automation parts i.e. in that case the automation is not drawn.

It all works fine in MU.LAB 3, but it was just too much work to update the M2.7 code on that specific point, while M3 is so close. Hope you can understand.
