T2 Closing randomly during use

Hi everyone,

Within the past few weeks I've started having an issue I've never encountered before with Tracktion 2 on my Win XP PC (at least not repeatedly as I do now). I think it started when I was running the Kontakt 2 based Infinite Player for the Sonic Reality Drum Masters samples. Fairly often, sometimes more than once a day, Tracktion would just close while Kontakt was loading instrument files after opening a project.

Now the situation seems to be worse and Tracktion has started occasionally closing immediately after opening other projects (with with no saved sample setups, just plug-ins). It is also occasionally closing while I'm using it (after a project has been open for a while).

I'm not sure yet but it seems like either Kontakt or ReWire/Giga 3 has been involved when this happens. I'm pretty concerned now as this is turning into an everyday occurrence.

I reinstalled Tracktion 2 today with the final version from 2006 (same one I was running before) but I haven't tested it yet to see if the issue continues.

I'm basically looking for any input from people who have experienced anything similar. TMK, this is the only app that does this so it doesn't appear to be a system wide issue at this point.

Hold tight---I may have traced this to a new plug-in (Bootsy Density Mk II) that I believe was saved along with every project where I've been having this problem. What's more, the host closed half a dozen times immediately after I deleted that plug-in from each project.

I'll come back and post if I think I've resolved this issue.
